The E.O Wilson Biophilia Center is a natural sciences education center that teaches biodiversity and conservation with the primary audience being school-age children. Relative Scale designed a choose-your-own-adventure touchscreen interactive where the user helps a Florida black bear find food through four seasons.
Variety of Animated Outcomes
Beginning in Spring, users are met with two scenarios per season, each with two options, of where to search for food, and each has its own animation, for a total of 16 user-triggered animations in addition to the ambient environment and UI animation.
Attract and End Screen
Seen below is the attract screen for the app, which loops seamlessly. The end screen of the experience is a version of the same scene with the addition of the hunger meter that tracked the user’s success finding food throughout the year .
